I wouldn't say its short on enjoyment. I have been playing it nearly every day from day one. Today im making muscle cars and touring cars for a touring car championship on the speedring.
The customisation is way ahead of gts and the racing much better.
As for realism the only reason the forza team didn't include the dashboard view is because if weight reduction is applied it altars the interior which meant that to do it realistically would mean 4 or 5 renders for each dash inter...
forza2 is the best driving game ever made in my opinion and ive played a lot of them. Gt might have better graphics but its way behind in other areas. Forza has taken the crown.
Totally agree. The fact is the sales just arent there for the pc. They make tons more money on the consoles. Yes mods are great but they don't make any money off community mods. Its all about the cash and consoles are where its at.
The pc is always going to be second best to consoles now, get over it.

I agree with you on that one. I was really looking forward to GT prologue but within a week i was back on Forza.
Im hoping MGS is going to be great as most of the other games im looking forward to are on the 360.
i don't regret buying my ps3 and i think its a great machine but i think its still behind in the gaming stakes.
I have a pc for playing games as well thank you, but the fact is its no longer the main concern of game developers. They go where the money is and thats on consoles not pcs. When Farcry2 comes out on consoles which it is it will easily outsell the pc version.
Pc gaming is to expensive and to fiddly for the average consumer. Yeah pc's are always more powerful, but at a price.
The market isnt dying, its dead. Did crysis perform well compared to console releases. I think not.
I think its over rated. The graphics are great sure but the A.I in single player is awful, and whats with the infinite spawning enemies and grenades on veteran.
Multi player has some good ideas but i wouldn't say its outstanding.
Bring on the next Battlefield game to show em how a real multi player does it.
I love the Ps3 themes. The 360 ones are always so faded colour wise because of the dashboard but the ps3 ones are vibrant... plus i don't have to pay for them.
Really looking forward to MGS on Ps3. The more i read about it the better it sounds.
Wouldn't be surprised if they won the sales race. But saying that my Ps3 isnt used much at the moment. Im into online play and the Ps3's online seems deathly quit compared to the 360's. Its like playing on your own sometimes. Thats why im getting battlefied bad company on 360 rather than ps3. At least my team mates will talk to me.
Im really hoping MGS will be the killer game im waiting for because so far the ps3 is lacking in quality titles compared to xbox.

Once again most of these are coming to consoles and while gta sold 2mill on pc it sold 10 times that on consoles. I rest my case.
Great except nearly all of them are coming out on consoles and i won't have to spend a shed load upgrading my pc to play them. Pc gaming has been on the decline for years. Warcrafts about the only thing keeping it going. Look at the top 20 for the entire year, wheres the pc games???
Been playing GT prologue for a few days now. Graphics are great but today im back on Forza. Personalised cars and in race chat for me. I enjoyed the prologue but hope the actual game has a lot more going for it. Prologue is just Gt4 with better graphics at the moment, they need to add more to it to keep me interested. Amazing graphics aside it seems a bit stuck in the past.
Damage would be great but i reckon it will be on Forza's level. The reason Forza didn't have an in car view is because with weight reduction applied (removing seats etc) 3 to 4 different interiors for every car would have to be modeled, there were to many variables with the modding to do it realistically. Who actually uses the d-pad anymore apart from changing weapons. Its analogue sticks and triggers all the way. DMC.. i use sticks, fps..sticks, driving sticks etc.
The only exception is beat em ups and for that i use an arcade stick.
The d-pad was always awful thats why they changed to sticks and triggers. If your using d-pad for control then you might as well as stuck with your snes.
I have been an avid suppoter of xbox live for a while but having spent more and more time on my ps3 im starting to evaluate my previous posts.
If Sony can pull this off along with XMB this year then i will cancel my xbox live subscription as i won't feel that the fee is justified.

Yeah i have to admit i find the Ps3 dashboard a lot more easy on the eye and versitile than the 360 one. I don't like the way the themes on the 360 are faded to accomidate the menus. The ps3 ones are always bright and clear.
Ive been uploading backgrounds for my dashboard for ages on the 360, does this mean we can have multiple blade pics now like the purchased ones????

XMB for Ps3... the 360 has had that for ages...lame (sorry could'nt resist, i just dislike fanboys).
Whether its good or not sequels generally sell better than the originals and as gears one as sold over 5million copies i can't see gears two being anything apart from a huge seller.
